Is Now a Good Time to Get a Diesel Heater?

With the war in the Middle East, this may be a question you are asking.

So here are my thoughts:

a) These heaters are extremely efficient and only use around 150ml of diesel/hr. So if you ran it for 3 hours / day you would only use 1/2 a litre or $1.80...

b) Their heat is more efficient that Air con heat, as it flows up rather than needing to be pushed down.

c) My bet is on the war being shorter rather than longer so chances are things will be back to normal shortly.

Either way a diesel heater is a must have for those who love offgrid camping in lovely Western Australia. And as we head into the winter months it will be even more valuable!
